Customer Assistance- Greet and assist customers as they enter the store, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Help customers find products that meet their needs, preferences, or requirements.
- Provide information about product features, benefits, prices, and promotions.
- Actively engage with customers to encourage purchases and meet sales targets.
- Suggest complementary products or upsell items to increase sales.
- Process transactions efficiently, including handling cash, credit/debit cards, and providing receipts.
- Maintain a good understanding of the products or services offered in the store.
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, and discounts to share with customers.
- Ensure products are accurately labeled, priced, and displayed.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure satisfaction.
- Handle returns, exchanges, or warranty claims according to store policies.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with customers at all times.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required (higher education may be preferred in certain industries).
- No specific certifications are typically required, although specialized knowledge or training may be helpful in fields like cosmetics or electronics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and colleagues.
