Position UK Accountant (Must Have UK Tax Experience) Overview As an Accountant, you will play a crucial part in supporting clients by delivering high-quality accounting services that align with their financial goals. You will assist in managing various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards, and contributing to the preparation of financial statements. Successful candidates who are willing to work onsite will receive a signing bonus. Responsibilities Handling daily bookkeeping tasks, including account and bank reconciliations, invoicing, billing, payments, and bank uploads. Preparation and submission of limited company accounts, corporation tax returns, income tax returns, and VAT returns. Preparation of dividend vouchers and board minutes. Preparation of sole trader accounts and year end accounts, including cash flow statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements. Overseeing entire client ledgers, proactively managing and resolving discrepancies. Execution of month‑end closing activities, including journal entries and analysis. Provision of comprehensive accounting services across all facets of the client's business. Requirements Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any accounting related field. Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant work experience is required for this position. Experience of working in UK accounting practice is essential. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks). Can‑do attitude with a willingness to learn and develop both yourself and others, as well as being a team player. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Must have a stable internet connection for a work-from-home arrangement and shift 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM Manila time.
