Job Title : Financial Reporting and Compliance (FRC) Analyst

Department : Finance

Reports to : Assistant Controller – Head of FRC

SUMMARY :

The FRC Analyst is responsible for consolidating the financial results of the Agency’s operations. This role acts as the gatekeeper of balances, ensuring the completeness, compliance, and accuracy of all financial reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review the accuracy of all financial transactions.
  • Prepare journal entries related to financial reporting and compliance.
  • Address unusual and aged items in the Balance Sheet (BS) and Income Statement (IS), and recommend adjusting entries.
  • Monitor intercompany transactions, including reconciliation, entries, billings, and settlement, coordinating with the intercompany party to resolve discrepancies.
  • Clear offsetting entries and maintain valid balances for BS accounts.
  • Prepare BS schedules to ensure the accuracy of reported balances.
  • Review bank reconciliations performed by the shared service center and resolve any issues.
  • Ensure timely submission of entries and reports, maintaining accuracy during month-end closing.
  • Collaborate with Finance Teams (Billing and Collection, Cash Management, Shared Service Center) to ensure internal controls are in place.
  • Submit monthly reporting requirements such as Hyperion schedules and regional reports.
  • Assist in reviewing the completeness of vendor and client accreditation documentation.
  • Resolve audit findings through process improvements and control procedures.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting audit requirements (IPG-IA, IPG-RCT, Clients, Statutory reports like PwC).

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.
  • Maintain positive relationships with other business units, Shared Service Center, and stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Graduate of Accountancy or related field.
  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
