Electrical Utility Manager Amentum Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines This is a pre‑award opportunity located on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. Responsibilities Provide a qualified Electrical Utility Manager who shall be responsible for managing personnel, budget, and construction and maintenance projects associated with Diego Garcia’s Electrical Utility System. Management skills: a) Must be able to conduct on‑site technical risk assessments of the Electrical Utility System, and be thoroughly familiar with construction standards, operating procedures, policies, record‑keeping practices, and code compliance; b) Must be thoroughly familiar with electric utility overhead and underground distribution systems; c) Must have an understanding of electrical utility environmental and safety regulations; d) Must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non‑technical personnel, in writing and orally. Qualifications At least 5 years of documented experience on engine‑driven generators rated 1,000 kW to 2,500 kW 3‑phase/60 Hz stationary diesel‑engine‑driven generators and associated medium‑voltage electrical equipment/switchgear systems. At least 5 years of experience on electrical distribution systems equivalent to the electrical distribution system on Diego Garcia. At least 5 years of documented experience in Quality Management and Administration, including accident and incident investigation.
