Responsibilities
  • Ensure all queries are handled promptly and professionally related to treasury
  • Monthly reporting of cashflow to Canon Inc
  • Ensure all journals and reconciliations are completed in accordance with monthly reporting timetables
  • Run monthly reports such as the Customer Ageing Report
  • Identify issues on reconciliations as they arise; escalate material issues to Process Lead/Onshore; liaise with AR/Banking/GL/Intercompany; clear outstanding items on reconciliations
  • Review and document own work processes and procedures; suggest improvements to prevent re-occurrence of outstanding items
  • Daily update of exchange rates in D365 and Blackline; send monthly FX rate to users for reference
  • Prepare daily 11am report, payment setup, and consolidated cash balance
  • Daily reconciliation of banks and follow up on unreconciled items
  • Maintain treasury mailbox and monitor queries and payment processing
  • Prepare monthly cashflow to CINC and weekly cash forecast
  • Participate in projects as required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Strong treasury background
  • Experience in cashflow forecasting and payment processing
  • Computer literacy (minimum Intermediate Excel, Intermediate Access)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good level of initiative
  • Eye for detail
  • Efficient time management
