German Quality Control Reviewer - Marikina (Job Description)

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Food Technology or any courses (Professional Licensure or relevant certification is an advantage).
  • At least two (2) years of related experience as QAC Staff in a food manufacturing industry. Training and seminars on QMS, Food Safety, cGWP/cGMP and related areas is a plus.
  • Willing to work in Navotas City.

Responsibilities / Application of Skills and Abilities

  • Supports the implementation of all policies, processes and initiatives in the following QAC functions/facets:
  • Quality Assurance and Control
  • Monitor execution of quality and food safety plans during blending operations.
  • Check the condition and accuracy of all raw materials in terms of quality, expiry, traceability, weight and other details prior to production use.
  • Validate the product for rework prior to production use through visual inspection.
  • Check and monitor compliance to approved manufacturing procedures, parameters, specifications and product process flow.
  • Monitor pest control within the blending area; verify daily production monitoring.
  • Conduct sampling of GIPs for testing and evaluation prior to packaging.
  • Monitor and ensure materials are used and processed under proper environmental conditions as required by material specifications.
  • Collaborate with Production Department - Blending Section to ensure compliance with standards, parameters and specifications.
  • Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for GIPs with off-specifications and deviations; monitor NCRs and corrective actions with Production Department; prepare monthly summary reports on NCRs and corrective actions related to product complaints from External Providers.
  • cGWP/cGMP and other Quality-related standards
  • Assist the QAC Supervisor in implementing and monitoring cGWP/cGMP, Food Safety, HACCP and other quality standards in the blending area.
  • Gather and check cGWP/cGMP Deviation Reports and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Assist in preparation and conduct of in-house cGMP, cGWP, Food Safety and HACCP seminars/refresher courses for new and existing personnel in conformance with FDA standards and customer requirements.
  • Assist in product knowledge/orientation for new/existing employees focusing on technical modules.
  • Quality Management System
  • Work with the QAC Department to implement QAC policies and forms aligned with ISO 9001:2015.
  • Attend QMS trainings, meetings and audits; support continuous improvement of work practices.
  • QAC Reports and Analytics
  • Generate and maintain accurate QAC reports/records including: QAC BSC-OGSM Performance (monthly: Financial, Customer, Internal Business Process, Innovation, Learning and Growth), Corrective Action Reports, cGWP/cGMP Deviation Reports, and Inspection Monitoring in the blending area.

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : From Php16,000.00 per month

Schedule : 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types : 13th month salary, Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate : Navotas: Relibly commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education : Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

Experience : QA: 1 year (preferred)
