Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations : supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment Manage inventory : conduct cycle counts and reconcile stock with systems to maintain high accuracy Lead and train staff : direct warehouse team (associates, forklift operators), optimize workforce schedules, and mentor personnel. Safety and compliance : enforce proper use of PPE, conduct safety inspections, document SOPs, and uphold regulatory standards. Equipment upkeep : coordinate maintenance of forklifts, conveyors, and other material handling systems. Track KPIs & reports : monitor productivity metrics accuracy, costs), prepare reports, and present performance data to management. Continuous improvement : identify process bottlenecks, streamline workflows, reduce costs, and propose layout or automation upgrades. Cross-functional coordination : work closely with procurement, logistics, quality, and customer service teams to align warehouse operations. Qualifications Warehouse systems savvy : proficiency in Warehouse Management System and MS Office. Leadership & teamwork : strong interpersonal, communication, delegation, and staff development abilities. Attention to detail & organization : accurate stock control, documentation management, and adherence to protocols. Problem-solving : quick decision-making to resolve discrepancies, delays, or equipment failures. Physical stamina : readiness to handle typical warehouse tasks like lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods.
