Overview

The Product Domain Lead will act as the primary owner and subject matter expert for assigned products, including Monetix–Flashpay, Legacy platforms, Tubo, Libangan, and future services under this umbrella. This role bridges business needs, customer expectations, and technical delivery by guiding the product vision, supporting the Scrum team, and providing domain-specific insights to ensure solutions are aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Product Owner for multiple products and services, ensuring clear backlog management and prioritization.
  • Serve as the domain expert for assigned products, guiding both customers and internal teams with best-fit solutions and workarounds.
  • Bridge communication between customers, stakeholders, and Scrum teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and addressed.
  • Work closely with the IT Head (who oversees Scrum and operations) and the CTO (strategic leadership) to align product development with business goals.
  • Gather, analyze, and translate customer requirements into actionable product features and enhancements.
  • Maintain ownership of product documentation, roadmaps, and solution strategies for assigned domains.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, solution design, and advising the Scrum team on domain-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance, scalability, and usability of solutions, keeping both customer expectations and business constraints in mind.
  • Represent the organization as the primary point of contact for product-related discussions with customers and partners.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and suggesting process enhancements.
Accountability
  • Accountable for the end-to-end ownership of assigned products.
  • Responsible for defining and communicating the product vision, product backlog, and priorities to the Scrum team.
  • Answerable for timely customer communication and expectation management.
  • Jointly responsible with the IT Head for successful delivery of product increments.
  • Support the CEO/CTO in aligning product roadmaps with organizational strategy.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong background in product ownership, business analysis, or solution consulting.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of product ownership experience is required.
  • Proven ability to translate customer requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks with hands-on experience in backlog grooming and sprint planning.
  • Hands-on Scrum/Agile experience is a mandatory requirement for this position.
  • Domain knowledge of financial services, remittance, HR/payroll, or digital platforms preferred.
  • Ability to balance customer needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Australian work authorisation is required at time of application or sponsorship will be provided.
Reporting Structure
  • The Product Domain Lead will report directly to the CTO for strategic alignment and product direction.
  • Collaborate with the IT Head, who leads Scrum teams and operations.
  • Act as the key contact for customers and partners regarding assigned products.
