Join to apply for the RCI: Legal Officer role at ACTIVEONE HEALTH, INC. Job Objective / Purpose The Legal Officer is the primary point of contact (POC) for legal matters of the company. He/she liaisons with company officers and external legal counsel for labor and contracts, discusses relevant matters with employees and auditors, and ensures compliance with due process and proper documentation. Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates with other departments to ensure compliance with all legal‑related permits covering the requirements of the Department of Labor and Employment, such as Certificate of Registration under DO18‑A, Certificates of Compliance for labor standards and occupational safety, and certificates of no pending case with related bureaus. Reviews and updates the company’s Code of Conduct, champions compliance to due process, and issues notices of disciplinary action for both major and minor cases. Actively participates in and summarizes facts of all administrative cases. Provides opinions on applicable disciplinary actions to be imposed on erring employees. Champions the grievance committee and grievance process of the company. Reviews and updates labor contracts of the company in coordination with external labor legal counsel. Represents the company for all DOLE audits and/or conferences before the NLRC. Informs HR Head and Management about major cases requiring their immediate attention or decision. Monitors legal expenses. Corporate Contracts Management Assists the President/COO and the Corporate Secretary in reviewing all client and vendor contracts. Ensures minimal legal risk for the company, particularly regarding intellectual property and indemnification issues. Coordinates with the Corporate Secretary on matters requiring his attention/signature. Data Privacy Officer Acts as Data Protection Officer (DPO) and oversees the company’s data privacy policies. Perform other tasks as may be required by Reliance Leadership Team due to business needs. Background and Qualifications Candidate must possess at least a Professional License (Bar) in Law (Bachelor of Laws). At least 3 years of working experience in the related field. Experienced employee specialized in Law/Legal Services. Possesses up‑to‑date technical knowledge on relevant government laws and regulations. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Strong analytical, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Ability to work under high‑pressure environment. Application Apply with resume.
