Overview

Software Engineer for Cloud Infrastructure {ASAP} at Yondu, Inc. in Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines.

Responsibilities
  • Use Terraform to automate the provisioning of cloud infrastructure and ensure that all deployments are reliable and repeatable.
  • Leverage Docker to containerize applications and manage their lifecycle within the cloud.
  • Utilize Kubernetes to orchestrate container deployments, ensuring high availability and scalability of applications.
  • Work with the data science team to troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide detailed Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) for incidents.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing of cloud deployments to ensure performance and reliability across environments.
  • Maintain transparent and routine communication with relevant stakeholders throughout infrastructure updates and fixes.
  • Document encountered issues and processes in comprehensive RCA documents and related records.
  • Monitor cloud platforms to identify areas for improvement and enhance platform reliability, availability, and performance.
  • Assist the Data Science team in maintaining and enhancing egress pipelines from the project toward different delivery platforms.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years in Cloud AWS, Python and Kubernetes
  • Experience in Python, Kubernetes, and AWS is required. Experience with SQL, Terraform, and Docker is preferred.
