Job Description

Lead and manage the procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, cost analysis, compliance, and supplier performance. Act as the technical liaison between engineering, operations, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials and services within budget and project timelines. Administer supplier contracts and maintain supplier databases and records. Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations. Drive cost optimization and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business requirements; stay current on supply and demand changes.
  • Evaluate and qualify vendors based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery performance.
  • Prepare and issue requests for proposals (RFPs/RFQs); evaluate bids and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Perform cost analyses and benchmarking; forecast demand and manage stock levels.
  • Coordinate between suppliers, manufacturers, internal stakeholders, and site teams to ensure accurate material forecasting and timely deliveries.
  • Lead negotiations to secure advantageous contract terms; manage payments and invoices.
  • Monitor supplier performance, maintain vendor records, and manage supplier relationships for long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement guidelines, regulatory requirements, and project timelines.
  • Oversee end-to-end procurement processes for construction materials, equipment, and services.
  • Manage and develop procurement teams; conduct regular coaching and performance reviews.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant procurement experience; 3+ years in a leadership/managerial role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Experience with cost analysis, budgeting, and financial acumen; familiarity with ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • High level of integrity, organization, and attention to detail.
