We are a distributed software company where colleagues work from home and collaborate remotely to support and develop the business's two software solutions. Primarily working in the legal sector, the business develops two data management products using the latest technologies for their domains. Our workload is increasing due to our outstanding reputation for delivery, and we need to grow the team to support our new contracts. Currently, we are looking for a Software Developer (C#) who has back-end development skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Good communication skills. Working as part of a remote team, you should be able to clearly communicate ideas, contribute to planning/design sessions, and work effectively with remote tools such as Teams, Office365 & Github.
  • Work as part of a small agile team with the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of software development, such as investigating and fixing issues raised in the field, as well as designing and implementing new features.
  • Your creativity and ability to think ‘outside the box’ will be essential in providing the best possible solutions for our customers.
  • Contribute to the team, not just on solutions but on any topic that might affect our customers; from development to services and support.
  • Self-improvement - by keeping up to date with new ideas and technology in the industry you will be better able to improve our products.

Technical Requirements:

  • Required
    • Previous C# experience
    • Understand and work to best practices (object-oriented design, implementing design patterns where appropriate, understand SOLID principles)
    • Unit & integration testing
  • Bonus
    • Knowledge and understanding of Agile practices (Kanban / scrum etc)
    • Knowledge/experience of XP methodologies (Test Driven Development, pair programming etc)
    • Windows Service development
    • ServiceStack
    • ElasticSearch
    • Experience with GitHub tools and workflows (git repositories / issues / planner)
    • Good SQL Server DBA/dev practices
    • NLOG

Other Requirements:

You must be able to work from home with a strong discipline to ensure work targets are met on time and produced to an excellent, pre-agreed quality.

Work Hours:

3pm – 11 midnight Manila Time

Must have reliable internet and PC at home

Must be currently based in the Philippines
