Overview The QA Supervisor ensures that all functions and duties within the scope of responsibility are executed and complied properly and consistently to achieve product safety and high standards of quality. This position ensures full implementation and compliance to Food Safety and Quality Systems such as Good Manufacturing Practices, Pre-requisite programs and HACCP system in the Production Line. It also supervises QA Associates and Officers to ensure duties are performed accurately and consistently. Key Responsibilities Production Process Quality Compliance Monitoring and Improvement: Ensure all processes are consistently monitored and compliant to quality standards; provide support in evaluating alternative and substitute materials; communicate with Production Supervisors and other Department Heads on non-conformities to facilitate CAPA implementation and closure; provide action plans to control and manage wastage and coordinate with concerned departments; accomplish CAR and issue to concerned department; monitor CAPA submission and ensure implementation and closure. Production and Other Areas GMP/HACCP Compliance: Plan, facilitate and coordinate GMP/HACCP refresher training to FSQMS group; ensure implementation of GMP/HACCP System in the production line; conduct GMP/HACCP audits and ensure compliance. Correction and Corrective Action Closure of External Audit Findings: Coordinate audit observations with responsible sections and develop CAPA for each non-conformity; present CAPA plan to external auditors and follow up on acceptance; monitor closure of each observed non-conformity and verify recurrence; conduct investigations and root cause analysis of store and customer complaints with recommendations. Food Safety Management System and Process Improvement: Provide improvement projects related to Food Safety and Quality Systems within scope; ensure compliance to all internal or external audits and closure of CAPA. Administrative and Operational Efficiency: Ensure all functions are performed accurately and finished in a timely manner; perform other related tasks as assigned by the Superior; assist all QA Divisions; participate in cost savings programs; maintain high punctuality. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Biology, Material Science Engineering or other science-related fields Minimum of 4 years of full-time work experience in Food Safety and Quality Management Systems in the Food Industry Experience in supervisory or assistant manager roles Full experience in Production line quality assurance management Full knowledge of Quality Assurance systems from receiving, production line and dispatching Thorough experience with GMP, GWP, GTP, HACCP; knowledge of ISO and FSSC 22000 (commissary and restaurant operations) Willingness to work onsite at the Head Office located at Marian Industrial Park, San Martin De Porres, Paranaque Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Quality Assurance Industries Food and Beverage Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
