Job 1: Service Delivery Manager

Job Description

  • Monitor and manage desktop support, IT services desk, and VIP support functions to ensure optimal service.
  • Maintain high performance levels for service-related processes and implement improvement activities where necessary.
  • Take ownership of critical incidents, coordinate with resolution parties, and establish effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews.
  • Ensure that systems, procedures, and methodologies are in place to support outstanding service delivery.
  • Develop a deep understanding of projects to gain insights into the scope of service delivery.
  • Drive accountability for service delivery performance, meet customer expectations, and drive future demand.
  • Analyze third-party and internal processes, and create strategies for service delivery optimization.
  • Recommend methods of improvement and ensure actions are implemented on time for service delivery upgrades.
  • Provide accurate and regular reports to management on service delivery performance.
  • Lead personnel management, including staff recruitment, performance assessment, training, and mentoring.
  • Build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders to enable effective dialogue between departments.
  • Supervise desktop management teams to facilitate continual improvements in the desktop environment.
  • Collaborate with technical design teams to set standards for software, hardware, and security.
  • Develop new strategies to increase profit and maintain quality of service.

Qualifications and Skillsets

  • Proficiency in leading both physical and virtual teams.
  • Experience working with third-party services.
  • Operational ability in a diverse, large-scale environment.
  • Exceptional customer-facing skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of escalation procedures, incident management, and related service delivery disciplines.
  • Mastery of ITIL principles.
  • Experience in people management and leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to train and guide junior team members.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently with solid resource planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ensure SLA and KPI targets are met.
  • Take full responsibility for the collections function, reviewing metrics and reports to drive performance and efficiency.
  • Management of the cash forecasting process.
  • Supervise, motivate, and mentor staff with targets for Team Leaders and direct reports.
  • Ensure procedures are up to date and adhered to within the team.

  • Experience with accounting ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and MS Excel.
  • Prior voice collections experience in B2B contexts.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in team interactions and facilitation; knowledge in Sales, Billing, Cash Application, Contracts, Credit Management, or Collections is advantageous.
