About the Role: What You’ll Really Be Doing Instead of a checklist of tasks, here are the kinds of challenges you’ll own: Deconstruct Business Needs: A client says, “I need more leads.” You’ll dig deeper to understand their business, their customers, and their market to determine why they aren’t getting leads and then architect a comprehensive web-based solution. Master the Unknown: You’ll be our go-to person for the weird and the wonderful. A plugin conflict is taking down a site. A new Google algorithm is tanking rankings. A client wants to integrate a new, obscure API. You won’t know all the answers, but you’ll know how to find them. You’ll be expected to research, experiment, and implement solutions independently. Elevate the Team: You’ll be a force multiplier. You’ll mentor junior team members, not by giving them the answers, but by teaching them how to think. You’ll establish best practices, conduct insightful code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning. Embrace AI as a Partner: We don’t just use AI; we expect you to be a power user. You should be constantly exploring new AI tools and prompting techniques to accelerate your workflow, generate creative solutions, and solve problems that used to take days in a matter of hours.
