Key Responsibilities: Oversee end‑to‑end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP . Provide strategic financial analysis and reporting to support leadership decision‑making. Manage and optimize workflows in QuickBooks (QBO) , Xero , and Excel . Interpret and implement technical accounting standards such as ASC 842 and other FASB pronouncements. Partner with leadership to develop adaptable systems and processes as business requirements evolve. Lead or support in audits, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting. Qualifications: Years of successful experience in high‑level Controller or CFO roles. Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and current accounting standards. Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online , Xero , and Excel . Proven adaptability, comfortable working in changing, fast‑paced environments. Strong analytical mindset, detail‑oriented, and curious by nature. Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex financial data into actionable insights. Prior experience supporting U.S.-based companies (remote or on‑site). Familiarity with cloud‑based reporting and automation tools. Must be amenable to work at night. Must be comfortable working with time trackers. Must have own working equipment (computer: at least i5 and 8GB RAM, webcam, and noise‑cancelling headset).
