Cybersecurity Specialist

Role Summary As a Cybersecurity Specialist , you will play a critical role in safeguarding our digital infrastructure. You’ll lead threat detection and incident response efforts, oversee security audits, and implement advanced protection strategies across cloud and on-prem environments. This is a hands‑on role requiring deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to cybersecurity. Key Responsibilities Lead and resolve complex IT security‑related issues involving: Email security and phishing prevention Active Directory and Group Policy management Firewall configuration and rule enforcement Cloud services security (AWS, Azure, GCP) Multi‑factor authentication (MFA) deployment and monitoring Design and implement security‑focused projects and initiatives Conduct cybersecurity audits and ensure compliance with industry standards Perform threat detection, analysis, and incident response Configure and manage encryption technologies Oversee endpoint protection for laptops, servers, and remote assets Maintain and optimize Security Awareness Training and Risk Assessment platforms Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of security operations Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related technical field (preferred) Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity or IT security operations Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred Strong documentation and real‑time reporting skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Deep understanding of networking, Active Directory, and Group Policy Proven experience with firewall and router configuration Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with situational awareness Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment Self‑driven with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development Willingness to pursue additional certifications as part of a structured training plan Job Requirements Must be open to a long‑term remote work arrangement Must be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule #J-18808-Ljbffr
