The Role: S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a Commercial Operations Application Associate to join the Commercial Operations team in Manila, Philippines.
Grade Level: 8 (Internal Use)
The Team: The Client Operations team is the primary touchpoint for our clients and is the “face” of the company. The Commercial Operations team is a cross-location group focused on customer service, product usage and revenue growth. We value open communication, work-life balance, and a results-oriented culture.
What’s in it for you? As an Senior Application Associate in Client Operations, you will learn, educate and support financial information for customers in capital and commodity markets, engaging with clients to drive product usage and revenue. You will leverage financial market knowledge, strong customer service and troubleshooting skills to assist clients with requests, showcasing knowledge of tools, data and industries covered. You will collaborate with teams across the organization (Sales, Technology, Content, Industry Research, etc.) and contribute to improving BAU processes and delivery quality. You may participate in User Acceptance Testing to curb issues before they reach clients.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Develop financial models / Product Services on website / Office products for internal/external clients to assist routine workflow and analysis.
- Provide proactive suggestions on product usability, presentation and data quality.
- Be the primary point of contact for providing critical research and value-add knowledge to a diverse client base at financial institutions, government organizations and universities.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or Economics. CFA is a plus.
- Intermediate to Advanced level MS Excel proficiency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge of MS Office and databases is a plus.
- Good understanding of accounting standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- VBA knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM applications is a plus.
