Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Administrator to join our Infrastructure Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and support of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and performance of our systems and services. You will work with the latest technologies and play a key role in managing our DevOps processes and FinOps practices.

• Administer and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Implement and manage DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Oversee cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal system functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical services and projects.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Implement and manage FinOps practices to optimize cloud costs and ensure financial accountability.
• Troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues in a timely manner.
• Proactively manage cloud resources to ensure sufficient capacity for future needs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our cloud infrastructure.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud administration.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and FinOps.
• In-depth knowledge of core services like compute, storage, networking, databases, and security features in Azure
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Terraform, PowerShell).
• Experience with cloud management and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
• Understanding of network concepts like subnetting, routing, and firewalls to configure cloud network infrastructure
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and implementation of security controls to protect cloud environments
• Basic understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• This is a hybrid work set up.
• Preferred: Cloud platform specific certifications (AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator Associate, GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer)

Job Description

Would you like to operate at the intersection of two of the most influential industries in today’s economy – cloud computing and private equity? You will be the single-threaded leader for this position within the firm and will build relationships with Limited Partners and Portfolio Companies. You will partner with Amazon sales teams, leverage proprietary AI for PE, and work with technical architects, economic modeling and performance optimization experts. You’ll also work closely with the Managing Partner, product management, technical and marketing teams.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record at establishing and developing engagement with investors, along with the technical depth to discuss cloud, supply chain and artificial intelligence. Experience/exposure to private equity is desirable but not a requirement. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and strong oral and written communication skills are a must.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess 3-5+ years of business development, consulting or marketplace experience
• 2+ years of experience with sales, account management or client management in either startups, small and growing businesses or private equity firms
• 2+ years of experience working with financial models
• 2 + years experience of cloud accounting platforms, e.g. Quickbooks

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Working knowledge of software development practices and data center / infrastructure / networking technologies highly desired
• MBA or equivalent business experience

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Delivery

· Design cloud architectures tailored to client requirements using the company\'s private cloud infrastructure.

· Develop solutions leveraging IaaS, DRaaS, BaaS, AI platforms, and Kubernetes.

· Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with industry best practices.

Client Engagement

· Participate in client discovery sessions, workshops, and technical demos to gather requirements and present solution proposals.

Education & Experience

Technical Skills

Soft Skills
