Overview The Cloud Administrator Specialist is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the company’s cloud and IT infrastructure, with a primary focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) . The role ensures system reliability, security, and efficiency across both cloud-based and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate has solid experience in cloud administration, system management, and network operations, with a passion for leveraging cloud technologies to support business growth. Key Responsibilities Administer, configure, and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud resources. Monitor performance metrics, system logs, and security configurations to ensure optimal operation and data integrity. Manage user access, roles, and permissions in line with company security policies. Collaborate with database administrators, network engineers, and support teams to ensure smooth integration and performance across systems. Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and cloud-related issues promptly to minimize downtime. Maintain up-to-date system documentation, configurations, and architecture diagrams. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability. Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in systems or cloud administration, with hands-on expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) preferred. Certifications in OCI, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Azure/AWS equivalents are advantageous. Strong knowledge of server management, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and networking protocols. Experience in hybrid cloud environments integrating both on-premises and cloud systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues. Strong communication and documentation skills; able to coordinate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
