Job Summary The position involves preparing tax return compliance, tax assessment support, addressing tax queries, conducting tax health checks and tax return preparation, carrying out tax planning studies, and providing general tax compliance advice. Furthermore, it requires collaboration with our tax and accounting professionals to support client engagements by overseeing staff work, liaison with clients and internal teams, management of deadlines and monitoring of engagement finances, identification and resolving of tax technical issues, and sharing of insights to enhance our processes and efficiency. Job Responsibilities Reviews work outputs of staff members and ascertains if content is correct, accurate, and in accordance with the specified work instructions of the engagements Encourage teamwork within the engagement team by providing effective leadership and communication skills Supervises the work of staff members within the team; motivates and retains staff members through effective coaching and mentoring Assists the manager in managing engagement economics Assists in collection efforts of the team and make certain that collection targets are achieved Analyzes workload requirements of the team in order to meet the job requirements Assists in recruitment activities of the team Qualifications Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax or related field, with previous supervisory experience Proficiency in tax planning and compliance, with the ability to identify and explain tax issues effectively Strong research skills, including knowledge of Tax Code provisions, updated BIR rulings, and relevant court decisions Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Certified Public Accountant license is required What's In It For You Accelerate your technical capabilities and transformative leadership skills with future-focused courses and development programs.
