Job Overview:
We are looking for a results-driven and strategic Sales Manager to lead and grow our property management sales division with 3-5 years work experience. This role requires a strong background in sales, a solid understanding of the property management industry, and the ability to lead a team toward meeting and exceeding revenue goals. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing sales representatives or agents, and driving client acquisition and retention.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new Property Management and Bookkeeping clients.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to set sales targets, pricing structures, and service packages.
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives or account executives.
- Set individual and team performance goals and ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and support to optimize sales effectiveness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, investors, and potential partners.
- Conduct high-level sales presentations, consultations, and contract negotiations.
- Resolve client concerns and ensure a smooth handover to the property management team post-sale.
- Track and report on key sales metrics (e.g., lead conversion rates, pipeline health, revenue performance).
- Maintain and analyze data in the CRM system to drive informed decision-making.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts and performance reports for senior leadership.
- Work closely with marketing to align sales campaigns with lead generation efforts.
- Coordinate with operations and property management teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.
- Represent the company in partner meetings when needed.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Executive for 3 years up, preferably in the property management or real estate sector.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with property management firms like Poplar or Evernest, preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with property management software such as AppFolio, Buildium, or Propertyware.
- Background in B2B sales targeting landlords, real estate investors, or HOA boards.
- Real estate license or related certifications (a plus but not required).
