Job Overview:
We are looking for a results-driven and strategic Sales Manager to lead and grow our property management sales division with 3-5 years work experience. This role requires a strong background in sales, a solid understanding of the property management industry, and the ability to lead a team toward meeting and exceeding revenue goals. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing sales representatives or agents, and driving client acquisition and retention.
Designation: Sales Manager - Property Management
Roles and Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new Property Management and Bookkeeping clients.
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to set sales targets, pricing structures, and service packages.

Team Leadership
  • Manage, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives or account executives.
  • Set individual and team performance goals and ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and support to optimize sales effectiveness.

Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, investors, and potential partners.
  • Conduct high-level sales presentations, consultations, and contract negotiations.
  • Resolve client concerns and ensure a smooth handover to the property management team post-sale.

Reporting & Forecasting
  • Track and report on key sales metrics (e.g., lead conversion rates, pipeline health, revenue performance).
  • Maintain and analyze data in the CRM system to drive informed decision-making.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and performance reports for senior leadership.

Collaboration & Alignment
  • Work closely with marketing to align sales campaigns with lead generation efforts.
  • Coordinate with operations and property management teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.
  • Represent the company in partner meetings when needed.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Executive for 3 years up, preferably in the property management or real estate sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred
  • Experience working with property management firms like Poplar or Evernest, preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with property management software such as AppFolio, Buildium, or Propertyware.
  • Background in B2B sales targeting landlords, real estate investors, or HOA boards.
  • Real estate license or related certifications (a plus but not required).
