JOB OVERVIEW
As Junior Business Analyst with demonstrated experience. You must have a great work ethic, love learning new things and experimenting with your (and your team’s) professional practice and improvement. You are dependable, ethical, love working alongside your teammates, and you have a sense of humour that shows your adaptability to any situation. You’re confident in stepping up to any challenge and learn quickly from any setbacks. You are confident in your career direction and know when and how to ask for help.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with internal teams to elicit and explore feature ideas and requirements
• Meet with clients to analyse and document their individual needs
• Create high-level and detailed user stories of solution features and functions, adding to product backlog for updates and prioritisation
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional / technical requirements
• Work with the Product and Engineering teams to determine work scope, and elicit confident estimates for delivery timeframes
• Perform testing of the product to ensure it matches the intended experience for users
• Assist with internal and external communications, supporting transparency and broadcast of product and business informationand updates
• Collaborate with clients/users to continuously gather feedback for ideas that improve their utility and experience of the product
• Support the Product Owner/Manager and Developers, as necessary
• Contribute to agile ceremonies
• Contribute to customer support processes and triage of issues

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience working as a Junior Test, Product, or Business Analyst in agile (scrum), cross-functional teams, delivering complex products and projects
• Experience in using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Ability to use different visualisation tools to communicate meaning
• Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of business process mapping and data flow
• Ability to document clear business, technical and functional requirements
• Collaborative approach to solution option design and promoting effective decisions
• Applies structured problem-solving in-line with business analysis best practice
• Ability to empathise with end users, client sponsors and the domain market to convey the “why” of products and feature sets.
