Position: Staff AccountantWork Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM ESTSalary: $1200 - $1300 per month (based on experience) Responsibilities General Ledger & Financial Reporting: Help manage the general ledger and prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and monitor accounts receivable. Payroll & Tax Support: Assist with payroll processing and help prepare for tax filings and audits. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Ad-hoc Projects: Provide accounting support for various projects as needed. What We're Looking For Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: 1-3 years of proven accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting. Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP, proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. Attributes: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Bonus Points For CPA certification (or in progress). Experience with financial reporting or analysis. Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
