About the Role As the Bookkeeper, you'll play a key role in maintaining the company's day-to-day financial operations. You'll handle everything from reconciliations to supplier payments and inventory tracking. Working closely with the CFO and Operations Director, you'll ensure the books are clean, accurate, and ready for reporting — helping the team make confident financial decisions. This role is ideal for someone with at least three years of Australian bookkeeping experience who loves working independently, takes pride in accuracy, and enjoys supporting a well-established, fast-moving business. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly reconciled. Process supplier invoices and prepare weekly payment runs. Manage bank, AMEX, and supplier reconciliations in Xero. Track and report on stock levels and inventory purchases. Work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. Support monthly reporting, BAS, and compliance requirements. The Ideal Candidate You're meticulous, dependable, and love structure. You take pride in keeping things balanced to the cent and have a natural knack for spotting inconsistencies before anyone else does. You're also proactive and reliable, someone who the team can count on to keep financial processes running smoothly. To succeed, you'll need: 3-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally with Australian clients. Advanced Xero skills — you know your way around reconciliations, bank feeds, and supplier payments. Experience managing accounts payable and general ledger reconciliations. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping (preferred).
