Base pay range $5.00/hr - $6.00/hr Overview This is a remote Bookkeeper position in the Philippines. As a Bookkeeper, you’ll play a crucial role in managing day-to-day financial operations, including expenses, accounting software, invoicing, AP/AR, and reconciliations. You’ll be the go-to expert for all things bookkeeping. This is a fully remote position and you should be available for client calls during EST working hours (night shift in PH). Key Responsibilities Record and manage daily expenses, including daily sales entries Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), with an AP-focused workload Prepare, send, and follow up on invoices Utilize accounting tools including QuickBooks (QBO), Ramp, MS 365, and POS systems (e.g., Aloha) Collaborate with clients to provide financial insights and timely updates Keep accounting software up to date and accurate Qualifications 2–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (AP-focused is a plus) Proficiency with QuickBooks Online preferred (experience is helpful but not strictly required) Familiarity with Ramp, MS 365 tools, and POS systems (Aloha preferred) is an advantage Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping Detail-oriented, highly organized, and a self-starter Excellent communication skills Graveyard shift experience is nice to have, but not required About 1840 & Company 1840 & Company is a global leader in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and remote talent solutions, dedicated to propelling businesses forward through our comprehensive suite of services.
