Revenue Accountant – Five9 Revenue Accountant role at Five9. Five9 is a leading provider of cloud contact center software, enabling customers worldwide to achieve new levels of customer experience. We are looking for a Revenue Accountant, active CPA, based in our Philippines office, who can communicate effectively with peers and management in a high‑paced environment. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting experience and responds quickly, energetically, and enthusiastically. Responsibilities Assist on sales contract review and assessment Ensure revenue recognition is in accordance with company policy and SaaS revenue recognition accounting standards Prepare deal/contract summaries for material completed transactions Prepare journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable related accounts on a worldwide basis Assist with financial audits including reconciliations, support documentation, and communication with external auditors Assist with month end and quarter end close activities Work closely with Sales Operations, Customer Support, and Collection team as needed to obtain information necessary to analyze and reconcile customer accounts Assist with managing and resolving billing and revenue customer issues Identify and assist with implementation of process improvements, including SOX related process improvements and access controls Support and participate on revenue accounting as well as order to cash cycle related projects Assist in various projects as needed Stay current on new revenue accounting rules and help develop appropriate policies and processes Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related field, minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance CPA required, Big 4/Public Accounting experience preferred Revenue Recognition experience, including adoption of ASC 606 Experience of working with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Must have software/SaaS experience Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely Amenable to work US time or night shift schedule Company Benefits Company stocks Annual merit increase based on performance 15% night shift differential pay Paid Leave with Cash Conversion HMO with free dependents Retirement Plan Life Insurance Internet and meal allowance provided for remote work setup Employee Assistance Program for mental and social well‑being Government‑mandated benefits: SSS, PhilHealth, PagIBIG, 13th month pay, Solo parent leave, Special leave for women Equal Opportunity Employer Five9 embraces diversity and is committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
