Overview

Responsibilities

Integrations

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations between Workday and other systems (internal and third-party).
  • Manage the full lifecycle of Workday integrations (planning, design, development, testing, deployment, support).
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and vendors to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Monitor integration performance and resolve issues to ensure data integrity between systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations.
  • Ensure integrations comply with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up to date with Workday updates and industry best practices to implement improvements.
  • Troubleshoot integration errors and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate testing strategies to ensure thorough testing of integrations for functionality, data accuracy, and performance.

Extend

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using the Workday Extend platform to meet specific business needs.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for Extend applications.
  • Define and execute the Workday Extend roadmap.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices for Workday Extend development.
  • Maintain existing Workday Extend applications and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Extend applications.
Qualifications

Mandatory Qualifications :

This position requires deep expertise in Workday Integration technologies, the Extend platform, and custom application development best practices, as well as exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Integrations

  • Proficiency in Workday integration tools such as Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Web Services, Core Connectors, PECI/PICOF, and Report Writer.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, and JSON.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and SaaS solutions.
  • Experience with data mapping, workflow design, and error handling protocols.
  • Experience with Workday data models, security architecture, and business process framework.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as XSLT and XML.
  • Experience with at least one full life cycle Workday integration.
  • Workday Integration (Pro) Certification

Extend

  • Hands-on experience with Workday Extend development.
  • Understanding of Workday Extend's presentation elements, Advanced Data, and Orchestration Services.
  • Experience with web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
  • Strong knowledge of application development and integration best practices.
