The Customer Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships with key customers. This role focuses on the development and execution of Joint Business Plans (JBPs), achievement of sales and profit targets, and effective management of trade investments. The position requires strong negotiation skills, customer relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure excellence in execution and alignment with company objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep commercial acumen, analytical capabilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key customers. Achieve sales, volume, and profit targets for assigned accounts. Manage promotions, pricing, assortment, and trade investments. Lead negotiations for trading terms and customer programs. Build and maintain strong customer relationships with key buyers. Conduct regular business reviews and performance tracking. Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, finance, and demand planning teams. Ensure execution of trade programs and merchandising standards in stores. Monitor competitive activities and provide market insights. Manage account budgets and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
