We are seeking a driven professional to join our newly created Middle Office team in Manila as part of our ongoing growth. Job Description The Middle Office Team provides trading desk support for large multi-strategy hedge funds. The Middle Office Associate will work across trade capture, affirmations, and pricing, with additional responsibilities that include issue resolution, client reporting deliverables, and technology development. The role exposes you to global financial markets and products, including complex derivatives, and involves a broad range of tasks across the trading cycle. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the establishment of processes, standards and culture in a newly formed Middle Office team Ensure all client trades are booked, portfolios are priced, and critical client reporting is delivered daily Manage lifecycle events on client portfolio positions (e.g., corporate actions, option expiries, CFD resets) APAC coverage of bank debt instruments - setup, cash flow management, trade settlement, and loan-conversion processing; communicate with external loan agents as needed Perform PnL checks to ensure EOD reports align with daily market activity Review portfolio pricing against vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters) for accuracy Collaborate with Sydney-based Middle Office and broader global teams in a follow-the-sun model Communicate with clients, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure correct settlement of trades and resolution of breaks Learn HedgeServ applications and platforms supporting trade capture, security master setups, client reporting, price portfolios, and real-time PnL and risk displays Escalate issues to management and hand over outstanding items to internal teams Troubleshoot trade booking and pricing queries across a wide range of products Requirements Education: Completed bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance Experience: At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role Exposure to various key financial products (e.g., equities, options, futures, fixed income and derivatives) is an asset Experience in client service roles, communicating with clients and vendors across regions Experience using multiple applications to perform daily tasks with strong risk and control awareness and high accuracy Personal skills: IT literate with emphasis on Excel Flexible, self-motivated and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective written and verbal communication Ability to multi-task and operate in a high-pressure environment with a focus on 100% accuracy Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing Analyst Administrative Industries Financial Services Investment Banking Banking #J-18808-Ljbffr
