Event Technician

Role: Event Technician- UPS (Uninterruptible Power Systems) Technician Role Type: Contract/Freelance Location: International (event-based) Assignment Length: Typically, 8–24 weeks. What you will do: Oversee installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of UPS systems and associated electrical distribution infrastructure Interpret venue‑specific electrical schematics to guide accurate equipment installation Coordinate with site logistics teams to manage timely and efficient equipment mobilisation Collaborate with Aggreko mechanical and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration with backup power systems Provide daily progress updates and technical reports to the Venue Lead Proactively monitor and maintain UPS systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability due to their vital role in the temporary power network You’ll have the following skills and experience Solid technical knowledge of UPS equipment Confidence in commissioning, load‑sharing and control systems Strong communication skills (English language is essential) A proactive, team‑first mindset Resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude A commitment to QHSE and Operational Excellence Aggreko prioritises Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) protection. We expect every contractor to comply with Aggreko’s QHSE policies, procedures, objectives, local legislation/laws and ensure timely completion of relevant and/or assigned QHSE training.
