THE ROLE The Senior Technical Consultant is a core member of the Level 2 (L2) support team, specializing in Temenos Transact Arrangement Architecture (AA). This role focuses on analyzing and resolving incidents that cannot be addressed at Level 1 (L1) and require deeper functional and technical expertise. The consultant acts as a bridge between L1 frontline support (Service desk) and Level 3 (L3) escalation (Senior Technical Manager), ensuring incidents are well-diagnosed, documented, and resolved or escalated with clear analysis. The Senior Technical Consultant engages directly with clients and internal stakeholders to investigate complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose workarounds or functional solutions. The role also supports BAU operations by guiding L1 consultants, collaborating closely with L3 experts, and contributing to knowledge management for continuous service improvement. OPPORTUNITIES You will provide specialized L2 support for SaaS clients using Temenos Transact, with a primary focus on Arrangement Architecture (AA). You will analyze incidents escalated from L1, reproduce issues, and perform functional investigations to identify root causes. You will deliver timely workarounds, configuration corrections, or functional solutions, minimizing client impact while awaiting permanent fixes. You will collaborate with L3 consultants and problem management teams to escalate unresolved issues with clear, actionable analysis. You will guide L1 consultants on best practices for issue logging, classification, and client communication to improve first-time resolution rates. You will document solutions, workarounds, and lessons learned, contributing to the knowledge base and enabling faster resolution of recurring issues. You will support functional testing and validation of fixes or enhancements before deployment into client environments. You will engage with clients on functional problem management discussions, ensuring transparency and building confidence in service delivery. You will contribute to BAU operational stability by identifying patterns of recurring incidents and recommending process or product improvements. SKILLS You should have Minimum 5 years of experience in Temenos Transact with proven expertise in Arrangement Architecture (AA). You should have strong understanding of AA product configuration, contracts, and lifecycle management, with working knowledge of related modules such as Lending, Deposits, and Payments. You should have demonstrated ability to perform functional root cause analysis, reproduce issues, and propose effective solutions or workarounds. You should have hands-on experience in Level 2 application support within a SaaS or core banking environment, with clear understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes. You should have basic knowledge of programming and scripting languages (e.g., jBASE, Java, SQL) to collaborate effectively with technical consultants. You should have strong written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly document issues, solutions, and provide updates to clients and internal stakeholders. You should have familiarity with Temenos Implementation Methodology and its application in BAU operations. You should have the ability to mentor and guide L1 consultants, strengthening the frontline support capability. You should have strong client-facing skills, capable of building trust during incident handling and resolution. You should have detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, ensuring accuracy in analysis and escalation. You should have awareness of industry practices, regulatory requirements, and operational risks in banking environments. VALUES Care about being a specialist in your field.
