Responsibilities Assist in the setup and operation of production equipment. Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals. Perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment as needed. Follow safety protocols and company guidelines consistently. Conduct routine inspections and tests of materials, components, and products at various stages of the manufacturing process according to established procedures and standards. Visually inspect products for defects such as scratches, dents, incorrect assembly, or other non-conformities. Perform dimensional checks using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Collect samples and perform laboratory tests (if applicable), such as material testing, performance testing, or chemical analysis. Accurately document inspection and test results, noting any deviations or defects. Identify and segregate non-conforming products. Assist in the investigation of quality issues and participate in problem-solving activities. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions. Ensure that work areas and testing equipment are clean and well-maintained. Adhere to all safety procedures and quality standards. Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions. May assist in training production personnel on quality standards and procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned.
