Qualifications About You The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or another related field. A relevant and recognized professional qualification such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and / or equivalent level within Risk Management is desirable. At least two year experience of working in a progressive risk management / assurance / internal controls / audit function of a financial institution / financial services and / or alternative investments industry. Fund accounting experience is preferred. Experience with a Big 4 audit firm is a plus. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite is expected. Excellent written and spoken English is a prerequisite. Responsibilities Your Role The Risk and Control Team (“R&C”) is a group‑level, global team, responsible for fostering risk and control awareness across all divisions within the Citco Group of companies as defined on The R&C strategy is to support the organization in implementing a robust risk management and control framework globally across all lines of business. The R&C team is responsible for the production of the System and Organization Controls “SOC1” reports for the Citco Funds Services (“CFS”), the Citco Bank and Depositary Services and Citco Corporate Solutions lines of business. In addition, The R&C has a separate specialized Quality Control and Assurance (“CFS QC”) team that reviews the operating effectiveness of controls within the various CFS functions (Loan Administration, Hedge Funds, Funds of Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Middle Office Solutions). R&C has resources based in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Dublin & Cork (Ireland), Jersey City (USA), Manila (The Philippines) and Toronto (Canada). Role reports to the relevant local Supervisor in Manila, which reports to the CFS QC Vice President based in Toronto. Cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with Management and staff in various CFS divisions and R&C colleagues. Involvement in the day‑to‑day execution of the operational effectiveness testing in a quality manner including timely work paper completion and review and identification of risk issues. This will include liaising and working with other key individuals responsible on related operational effectiveness testing work as well as business representatives across various offices, locations and time zones working with your Supervisor and escalation of relevant matters identified in the review process to R&C Management. Involvement in the controls effectiveness testing of fee template set‑ups in Citco applications, which includes review of data input against underlying documentation (Administration Agreements & Private Placement Memorandums) and independent re‑calculations of fees. Involvement in the controls effectiveness testing of Fund Accounting processes. Involvement in the preparation of quality control reports to Senior Management on operational effectiveness testing activities. Reporting performed includes overview of the testing performed, trending analysis, root‑cause analysis, testing observation details and recommendations to mitigate the risk. Work closely with the business divisions to review and enhance the internal control framework as part of the continuous improvement to the control environment and look for further efficiencies. Foster risk and control awareness across the organization by working with Management and first and second line functions (CFS Risk and Operational Control Monitoring teams). Maintain expertise and pursue training to keep abreast of new and proposed developments in Risk Management and auditing fields and consider the impact on the company through various industry organizations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
