Overview Ascendion Makati, National Capital Region, Philippines Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and microservices using Python/Java and SQL. Utilize cloud technologies (AWS preferred) to build and deploy data solutions; at least 2 years of hands-on experience required. Apply software engineering best practices, including design patterns, testing methodologies, and a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Communicate effectively with non-technical partners to understand requirements and deliver impactful data solutions. Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate with senior engineers, data analysts, and business users to design and implement new features and pipelines for the data platform. Support and troubleshoot existing data pipelines, working closely with central platform teams to resolve issues and enhance functionality. Qualifications 3+ years’ experience with database platforms and SQL 2+ years’ experience developing, debugging, and testing code 1+ years’ experience transforming data between data models, or for reporting purposes Experience analysing and interpreting data to identify patterns and trends A good understanding of data modelling, data structures, and/or design patterns, applying them to develop pragmatic solutions Experience in data transformation tools (e.g., Dataiku, Alteryx Designer), data modelling tools (e.g., Erwin), Java and Python, AWS experience and/or certification Job function Information Technology Industries Technology, Information and Internet #J-18808-Ljbffr
