About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a CTREX (Chevron Travel and Expense) Analyst - Night Shift . This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines .

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following

• Drive for superior results and take ownership of performance in accordance with the Chevron Way, the We Lead concept, and the FSS vision for process leadership and fiduciary oversight.
• Fully understand and enforce the Travel Policy 585 and PCard guideline which govern the use of the Chevron corporate card and employee reimbursements; understand other relevant policies and local practices; know the Travel and Expense as well as Purchasing card process workflow and recognize the rationale of each procedures, risks and applicable controls.
• Provide guidance and assistance to users on CTREX system navigation, transaction processing and reporting, and interpreting Chevron’s Travel policy and Purchasing card guidelines.
• Main Point of Contact (night shift support) for Chevron Executives and CSuites including executive assistants on inquiries related to CTREX navigation and Card Administration.
• Administer CTREX website changes, CTREX Computer based trainings (CBT) changes and CTREX Newsletter communications via CTREX Spotlight.
• Assist Global Security, Internal Audit, Tax and business unit representatives in reviews and investigations.
• Administer granting, revocation, and review of Expense/Pcard approver authority.
• Administer card enrollment, cancellation and reinstatement, change of card limit, and maintenance of cardholder information in systems being used.
• Provide quality responses to Helpdesk inquiries, requests and concerns within SLA.
• Process employee vendor set-up Night Shift Permanent Position (10pm-7am Manila time).
• Sustain strong internal control and ensure compliance with SOX controls related to the process.
• Perform back-up role as needed to ensure business continuity and the deliverables of the team are always met.
• Initiate and implement process improvements to sustain/increase quality of work, realize efficiencies and/or make the processes more effective.
• Ensure Procedural Documentation related to the process handled is always updated.
• Ensure all records and supporting documents relating to above are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and corporate record retention policies.
• Perform and assume other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned. Complete special projects as assigned by Team Leader and assist team members as required to provide quality accounting service to business partners.
• Proactively participate in the PMP (Performance Management Process) with the supervisor. Update and monitor progress of agreed performance goals.
• Participate in developmental trainings and read professional materials.
• Complete mandatory Compliance and Safety trainings and requirements on time.
• Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization as a means to achieving individual and team goals.
• Proactively involve and escalate pressing issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Share best practices and lessons learned within the team.
• Establish meaningful and productive relationships with key stakeholders of the team who can contribute to the smooth delivery of performance goals and commitments.

Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Uses clear and concise oral/written communication skills; develops and utilizes network, facilitates and coordinates communications with various contacts and takes a consultative position to fulfill control duties.
• Able to gather and interpret diverse source documents to ensure proper accounting of more complex transactions.
• Strong analytical skills; identifies, analyzes, and resolves routine variances and discrepancies.
• Strong technical knowledge; utilizes advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite and systems to process, manage, and present data.
• Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment.
• Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Deliver expectations effectively during night shift schedule (10pm-7am Manila Time).
