Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team at Executive Operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes, with experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and general financial analysis. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and contributing to effective budgeting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting Support: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial statements, ensuring all transactions are recorded in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Accounts Payable: Process and manage vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping. Collaborate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Accounts Receivable: Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments and reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Budgeting: Support the preparation of annual budgets, track budget vs. actual performance, and provide variance analysis to help ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Provide insights and analysis on financial trends and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Audit Preparation: Prepare and support internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation and reports are available for review.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand financial data, provide support in decision-making, and ensure financial processes are aligned with business objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function and assist in implementing changes that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a finance or accounting role, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, or budgeting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
  • Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
