Provide support to the team for Canadian reporting processes, which includes: - IFRS17 liability modelling - preparation of the reports for the non-model related IFRS17 liabilities - preparation of the report for Life Capital Adequacy Testing (LICAT) submission - analysis for the consistency and reasonableness of the market and insurance sensitivity testing for disclosure requirements - New product implementation and model setup - Execution of assumption changes in the model2. Conduct model validation exercises in accordance with established EUC guidelines3. Participate in ad-hoc projects depending on business needs such as but not limited to:- support on the stochastic asset modelling using actuarial software- support on the semi-annual business plan financial projections- support on the annual scenario testing submission to the regulator.**Qualifications*** University degree with a strong mathematical or statistical background* With at least 4 years of Actuarial related experience* Strong knowledge and experience in handling any Actuarial modelling software, preferably AXIS* With at least 2 Actuarial exams passed* Strong Knowledge in the use of MS Office application**Job Category:**Actuarial**Posting End Date:**30/12/2025**Shine together**At Sun Life, you can be your most brilliant self.
