Job Overview

This is one of the critical functions for the organization ensuring delivery management for substantial volume of rollout and other ongoing programs/projects. This position has been created to lead a diverse workforce which comprises project managers, planners, and engineers to achieve the following objectives for the Rollout division of the company:

1. End to end project and program management to ensure smooth site delivery.
2. Planning, coordination, and assurance of Colocation deployment to ensure tenancy maximization.
3. Capacity building in terms of process & resources for program deliverables.
4. Manage dependencies, risks, and any changes to project scope, and partner with all relevant divisions to ensure successful completion of project deliverables.
5. Project delivery and SLA performance management in line with divisional and company goals.

Your Responsibilities:

Selected candidates will be responsible for the following:

1. Develop, implement, and enhance telecom infrastructure related Project Management methodology and tools to use for different projects.
2. Monitor and report for all ongoing projects to internal and external stakeholders on a timely basis, ensuring effective issue escalation and resolution towards achievement of project objectives.
3. Identification, assessment, coordination, and management of project risk and issues.
4. Establish, grow and manage relationship engagements with CXO Level and client key decision-makers to achieve project goals and to achieve higher level of customer satisfaction.
5. Ensure collaboration among cross-functional project teams to assure project delivery.
6. Contract management ensuring obligations with customer for KPI, delivery SLAs and other deliverables.
7. Identify process gaps/challenges, analyze & recommend-implement necessary improvement to enhance project delivery performance.
8. Identify additional resources and support when required to ensure overall success.
9. Project wise Business Case development and coordination with finance, sales, and management for budget approval to assure on time project initiation.
10. Analyzing project requirement vs. allocated budget for resource planning, allocation, sourcing, and management to assure optimal usage and expected quality.
11. Strategic procurement management coordination with SCM to fulfill project needs.
12. Creation and management of automated dashboard in collaboration with IT or ERP solution provider ensuring real-time updates.

What our Client is Looking For:

A. Academic Qualification:

1. Degree in Civil Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Telecom related field or equivalent.
2. Certification in PMP or Prince2 would be an added advantage.

B. Knowledge:

1. Sound knowledge in Telecom passive and active infrastructure.
2. Able to independently do end-to-end Project lifecycle management and practitioners of project management methodology.
3. Understanding of total value chain of telecom rollout projects.

C. Skills and abilities:

1. Well versed in conflict management and work prioritization.
2. Good knowledge of problem-solving tools and ability to specify the solution in detail.
3. Capabilities of performing difficult tasks in stressful situations.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse workforce.
5. Sound presentation skills to project stakeholders i.e. leadership team.
6. Advanced level skill in MS Excel and well acquainted with other MS office applications.
7. Ability to perform as a member of multiple project teams with shifting priorities in a real-time environment.
8. Willingness to work on a flexible schedule and travel regionally as and when required.

D. Working Experience:

1. 10+ years of experience with minimum 5 years in managing complex, multi-stakeholders, multi-disciplinary projects.
2. At least 3 years of telecommunication project management experience for new site rollout.
3. Multidisciplinary experience in Towerco would be an added advantage.
