Exhausts modes of amicable settlement on terms beneficial to the Bank, and ensures that the client’s proposals are properly conferred with the approving authorities. Records and monitors periodically the status of cases by updating case files on what transpired in court hearings and noting therein Orders issued and motions / pleadings filed. Coordinates with and assists the Bank’s external counsel in the latter’s handling of outsourced cases. Ensures that the goals of Litigation Unit of Legal Services Division for the year are met.
