Creative Managers at SlideGenius are dedicated to fostering growth and cultivating high‑performing teams. Responsibilities Manage and train design team members to achieve department objectives. Brainstorm, suggest, critique, and demonstrate design and layout concepts complying with SlideGenius design standards and client expectations. Clearly communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and implement edits. Adhere to and educate others on client and/or internal branding guidelines. Coordinate, enforce, and develop training programs, policies, and procedures. Keep abreast of industry trends to continuously improve team performance. Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive team culture that fosters creativity and professional growth. Assess organizational needs and trends to identify training opportunities. Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and determine coaching needs. Conduct consistent and effective one‑on‑one meetings. Develop personal growth opportunities for direct reports. Communicate job expectations and appraise job results. Coach, counsel, and provide feedback to employees. Develop and implement performance plans and update supporting documentation. Contribute to meetings and events. Review potential design team applicants, conduct interviews, and provide feedback. Perform managerial duties over direct reports (timesheet, PTO approvals, performance evaluations, scheduling, updating personnel documentation, etc.). Ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment. Required Skills & Abilities Extensive experience with Microsoft PowerPoint. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop. Ability to learn new creative software. Skilled at curating curriculum content based on subject matter expertise. Has a consistent track record of successful mentorships. Shows aptitude and desire to manage a team. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and decision‑making skills. Patient, positive team approach. Detail‑oriented, collaborative, and facilitative. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Organizational ability and multitasking skills. Education & Experience 3+ years as a successful Manager, Art Director, or equivalent role. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related to Graphic Design. 5+ years of graphic design experience. Minimum of 3 years’ experience designing presentations in PowerPoint. Can work fully onsite. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to speak on the phone and/or in person. This is not intended to be all‑inclusive. Other responsibilities and/or qualifications may be assigned by management as appropriate.
