Responsibilities
  • Data Migration Developer is responsible for all activities related to detailed design, development, and unit testing of data migration jobs during the implementation project. DM Developer will use ADF & PL/SQL for data migration & reconciliation activities.
  • Design, develop, and implement data migration solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL.
  • Collaborate with project managers, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data migration requirements and objectives.
  • Create and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources to target systems.
  • Develop SQL scripts, stored procedures, and queries to support data migration and integration tasks.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the migration process.
  • Perform data mapping, data profiling, and data validation to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Monitor and optimize data migration processes to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Document data migration processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for data migration issues and incidents.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data migration, ADF, and SQL technologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related fields
  • At least 2 years of experience in data migration projects, specifically using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and strong in PL/SQL.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
  • Knowledge of database design, data modeling, data mapping, and data profiling.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, PowerShell scripts, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure SQL.
  • .Net skills required for VC document migration / any enhancements for Recon/Report UI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong team player with a professional mindset.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
