SOFTWARE ENGINEER (FULL STACK JAVASCRIPT) : Innovate for Australian Tech

In this role, you won't just be writing code; you'll be a key innovator, working on exciting projects that directly impact our clients' business success. You'll collaborate with international teams, use modern technologies, and contribute to solutions that are used by businesses across Australia.

Front-End Responsibilities

• Next.js Development : Build and maintain front-end components and pages using Next.js for server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes. You'll be responsible for performance and SEO.
• State Management : Use Redux for managing application state, including handling complex data flows and side effects with middleware like Redux Toolkit.
• Data Fetching and Management : Implement data fetching and state management with Apollo Client to interact with GraphQL APIs. This includes writing queries, mutations, and managing the local cache.
• UI/UX Implementation : Develop user interfaces using the Shadcn UI component library, ensuring a consistent and accessible design across the application.

Back-End and Integration Responsibilities

• Node.js & Strapi Development : Design and build custom APIs and business logic using Node.js . You will also configure and extend Strapi (a headless CMS) to manage content and provide a GraphQL API for the front end.
• Integration with Odoo : Connect the application to Odoo , an ERP system, to retrieve and send data related to business processes such as e-commerce, sales, and inventory. This will likely involve using Odoo's XML-RPC or JSON-RPC API.
• Workflow Automation : Utilize n8n to create automated workflows that connect various services, including Strapi, Odoo, and other third-party APIs. This will streamline data synchronization and business processes.
• API Development : Develop and maintain GraphQL APIs that act as a bridge between the front-end (Next.js) and back-end services (Strapi, Odoo, etc.).

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or Developer with a strong portfolio of work.
• Strong knowledge of both front-end and back-end languages, including HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and one or more backend languages such as Java, Python or Ruby.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Ember etc., or server side frameworks like Express.js, Django, or Ruby on Rails.
• Understanding of database technologies, such as MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB, and the ability to manage a database system efficiently.
• Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues that may arise in any layer of the full stack system.
• Ability to design and implement user interfaces and user experiences using front-end languages and tools.
• Understanding of web servers and server architecture, and ability to manage and optimize servers.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git for managing and tracking changes in code.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members, discuss project requirements, and provide clear explanations of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple aspects of a project simultaneously.
