As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end technical solutions that meet business objectives, align with enterprise architecture standards, and comply with regulatory and security requirements. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the IT landscape through strategic architecture planning, solution blueprinting, and hands-on design of scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Design end-to-end architecture for applications, systems, infrastructure, and platforms that meet quality, performance, and security standards. Create architecture diagrams, documentation, and technical specifications. Lead design reviews and ensure architectural integrity across projects. Actively participate in change management, risk assessment, and quality assurance processes. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards and best practices. Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks in banking and financial services. Perform proof-of-concept work to validate architectural approaches and strategies. Create new and review existing internal policies relevant to solutions architecture. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Communicate architectural plans and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Troubleshoot design and implementation issues in a timely manner. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms to meet evolving business needs and objectives. Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps and reference models. Excellent communication and presentation skills when engaging with the association's leadership. REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and data encryption practices Architectural modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Visio, Lucidchart) DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline Minimum 10+ years of experience in software development and systems design At least 5 years in Solution or Enterprise Architecture roles, ideally in regulated environments like banking or finance TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert ITIL v3/v4 Certification Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CISA – preferred for regulated industry roles Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimization. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
