Job Description - Process Developer (INS ) About the Role Inviting applications for the role of Process Developer, Underwriting In this role, you will be a part of the core sourcing team and drive different channels for timely delivery. Need to understand every requirement from business as it comes in and drive sourcing in the right direction Responsibilities Review inspection (PL/CL) reports, photos, and documentation submitted by field inspectors or third- party vendors Evaluate the overall condition of Residential/Commercial properties as per insurance underwriting guidelines Identify risks such as structural damage, safety hazards, poor maintenance, or code violations Ensure proper classification and data capture for all inspection elements (roof, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) Collaborate with underwriters and claims teams to clarify findings or elevate high-risk cases Forecast required Head Count for incoming business (Staffing requirement and forecasting) Qualifications Has significant years of experience in an insurance BPO or similar back‑office processing role Has understanding of home construction components and property inspection processes Experience handling U.S./U.K. property insurance processes (preferred) Eye for detail with the ability to interpret visual evidence (photos, floorplans) Excellent written communication skills to record findings professionally Ready to shape the future of work?At Genpact, we don’t just adapt to change—we drive it.
