Software Quality Control Assistant (Rolling Intake)

Join the team to identify and prevent production issues early, ensuring high-quality software development.

Your Role

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Identify, mitigate, and prevent potential production issues early in development.
  • Learn and comprehend product features to develop a clear understanding of product testing requirements.
  • Perform various regression testing processes, including feature QC, platform QC, bulk test, completeness test, interruption test, resource usage test, network connection test, and translation testing.
  • Collaborate with leads and team members to determine testing priorities, estimate efforts, and track/report progress.
  • Write regression test plans, test cases, and usage scenarios for testing and documentation.
  • Prepare the test environment and test data.
  • Assist in implementing testing improvement initiatives, such as automated testing.
  • Consolidate test results into clear and concise reports.
  • Create and track tickets for issues related to functionality, usability, performance, reliability, and stability.
  • Work closely with test designers to report and verify functional issues discovered during testing.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Diploma or Certificate in Computer Science, Engineering, Programming, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field with a willingness to pursue a career in IT.'
  • A proactive, resilient attitude with motivation to succeed.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in a software development project or environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac) and software quality control processes is advantageous.
  • Exposure to software, hardware, or network technologies is beneficial.
