About Job The Engineering Lead - Full-stack position at Apkudo is a key role that requires leading a team of developers to develop applications for large-scale use. As an Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for 30% management and 70% development, focusing on building and integrating software components into a fully functional platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working in a cross-functional distributed team environment. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work in a professional services team that focuses on customer excellence. As a leader, you will be instrumental in guiding the team towards achieving this goal. Your ability to tailor and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics will play a critical role in driving the team's success. Skills & Qualification Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software components. Excellent documentation skills to document requirements and specifications, ensuring that all team members are aligned and working towards the same goal. Ability to work in a cross-functional distributed team environment, fostering collaboration and open communication among team members. Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring that the team stays on track and meets its goals. 5+ years of experience as a software engineer/developer, with a proven track record of hands-on experience, including 3-5+ years of experience with Python, Node JS, React JS, and PostgreSQL. 2+ years of experience with AWS, ensuring that the team can leverage the cloud to its full potential. Ability to lead a small team of developers (2-5), providing guidance, mentorship, and support to help them grow and develop in their roles. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the team to achieve its goals and deliver high-quality results.
