Overview

We’re not just another one of those companies that are growing so fast that it’s writing boring job descriptions. Here at VORTEX.video, we are post-editing ninjas breaking the status quo of video production. We think outside the box, developing creative solutions with the energy of a thousand suns (fueled by Tabasco sauce). We’re a remote team with headquarters in Canada, and the majority of employees are in Ukraine and the Philippines. Our main goal? High-quality post-production services with maximum use of Artificial Intelligence technologies.

We currently need a full-time , remote project manager . This is not an IT-related job or business.

• FLUENT ENGLISH The interview will be in English. Special attention is given to English teachers, translators, and people who use their fluent English for professional purposes.
• You do not need to have deep knowledge of the video production industry or video design. If you have ever used Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook, you will do fine.
• A strong and error-free ability to conduct business correspondence is extremely necessary. At least 2 years of experience in any position that required written communication with people with an IQ above 100.
• Being able to calculate the sum or difference of two-digit numbers without a calculator. :)
• A proficient computer user who is married (or engaged) to a smartphone with high-speed internet. By the way, we'd be interested to know the speed at which files can “run” through the wires of your home internet.

Salary : $500-$1000 (USD), depending on the interview and performance.

• Make existing clients happy, so they chase us with money, begging for more of our services;
• NO NEED to look for new clients, only work with existing ones;
• Respond to client messages quickly and efficiently;
• Set tasks for video editors - also quickly and efficiently;
• Carefully check the quality of produced videos by video editors: subtitle errors, obvious visual bugs, and make sure the video you deliver to a customer has common sense for an average human-like inhabitant of planet Earth;
• Maintain feedback between clients and our internal teams to improve video editing processes throughout the entire cooperation cycle with our clients. One of your responsibilities is to protect company employees (and yourself) from cooperation with alien-type of clients with brain-loving task descriptions;
• Work 8 hours a day on a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday (we rest on weekends).

• The client gives you a task (NO NEED to look for clients);
• After understanding the details of the task and getting all the clarifications from the client, you assign a very clear task to the video editor or the head of video editors (called Team Lead);
• After receiving the video from the video editor, you send that masterpiece to the client and collect payment;
• Listen to the praise of your impeccable work from clients, then forward that praise to colleagues in chats;
• You will manage 30-50 regular clients;
• Pressing deadlines, time difference with North America, illnesses, vacations, laziness, inattention, hamster sniffles, or a pimple on the neck of your great-great-neighbor’s goat - none of this concerns our clients. Well, they are certainly ready to sympathize with the difficulties of our lives, but they will only pay money for a perfectly edited video delivered on time and budget. :) And only AFTER THAT can you discuss the health issues of the hamsters or the goats...

• Salary tied to $ (rate + % of your clients’ payments);
• 3 weeks of paid vacation per year and 10 annual public holidays with dates of your choosing;
• Lots of work and the opportunity to earn above the mentioned rates.
