Position Overview
The SAP PP Consultant (Short-Term Contract) is responsible for supporting and configuring Production Planning processes within SAP, ensuring smooth integration with related modules and alignment with business requirements. The role requires strong functional expertise in SAP PP, hands-on configuration experience, and the ability to collaborate with business users and technical teams to deliver effective solutions within the defined contract period.
Key Responsibilities- Configure and support SAP PP processes, including demand management, MRP, capacity planning, production orders, routings, work centers, and BOMs
- Lead and execute tasks in mid-size SAP projects, enhancements, and change requests
- Participate in process analysis workshops and translate business requirements into SAP solutions
- Ensure SAP PP integration with related modules (MM, SD, QM, WM)
- Support testing activities (unit, integration, and UAT)
- Provide production support, resolve incidents, and maintain system stability
- Create functional documentation, training materials, and deliver user training sessions
- Collaborate with senior consultants and project managers in system rollouts and upgrades
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of hands-on SAP PP consulting or support experience (Band 3 level)
- Strong knowledge of SAP PP configuration in both discrete and process manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with S/4HANA PP functionalities preferred
- Good understanding of integration points with MM, SD, QM, and WM
- Experience in end-user training and documentation preparation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
