Senior Software Engineer I - Python and AI or ML | Optum | Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines

Responsibilities
  • Develop software that deploys ML models and algorithms into production
  • Communicate and present complex analytics results and concepts to leadership and internal stakeholders
  • Apply AI and/or ML techniques including:
    • Natural Language Processing (NLP)
    • Natural Language Understanding (NLU)
    • Semantic Understanding
    • Intent Classification
    • Computer Vision
    • Deep Learning
    • Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR)
  • Apply deep learning technologies to enable computers to visualize, learn, and respond to complex situations
  • Work with large-scale computing frameworks and data analysis systems
  • Utilize knowledge of experimental methodologies, statistics, optimization, probability theory, and machine learning
  • Use code for tool building, statistical analysis, general-purpose software, and statistical languages
  • Adhere to employment contracts, company policies and procedures, and directives as the business environment evolves
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in Python and AI, with ability to mentor and support junior team members
